What is a myenergi Zappi?
The myenergi Zappi is a home EV charger that can charge your car from spare solar. It reads how much solar your home is sending out to the grid and adjusts the car's charging to match. It has three modes, Fast, Eco and Eco+, which set how much of each charge comes from solar. Eco+ makes the most of your free solar.

The myenergi Zappi We Install
The Zappi comes in single-phase and three-phase versions, with its own cable or a socket. We match the version to your power supply and your car.
Single-phase homes have one supply line from the street, and three-phase homes have three. A tethered charger has its own cable fixed to it, and a socket charger uses the cable that came with your car.

What Is Spare
Solar-aware chargers measure what is spare, most often with CT clamps. These are small sensors clipped around the main cables where your home meets the grid.

On three phases, the car needs about 1.4kW of spare solar on each phase before it starts. We check the car, inverter, charger and phases together before we quote.
