Apartment EV charging can be one of the most challenging types of installations in Western Australia.
When Tiffany purchased her new BYD Atto 2, she quickly discovered that charging at home wasn’t as simple as plugging into a power point. Living in the Revue Apartments in Dalkeith meant navigating shared infrastructure, strata approvals and questions around who would pay for the electricity.
Fortunately, Charging WA had already completed multiple installations within the building and understood the existing charging infrastructure, load management system and software setup. That experience allowed us to deliver a faster and more cost-effective solution than would otherwise have been possible.

The charger is activated using Tiffany’s personal RFID card, ensuring only authorised users can access the charger.
Electricity is supplied from the apartment building’s common power supply. Exploren software automatically tracks charging usage, charges Tiffany’s nominated payment method and transfers the funds directly to the strata company’s trust account.
The project was quoted within days and installed within approximately three weeks.
Most importantly, Tiffany now has a dedicated charging solution that feels as convenient as a private residential charger while operating within a shared apartment environment.
