How Fast Is a Home EV Charger?
A standard powerpoint adds only about 8 to 12 km of range an hour. A 7kW home charger adds three to five times as much.

Are All Electric Vehicles Compatible With Your Chargers?
Yes. Nearly every electric vehicle (EV) sold in Australia uses a Type 2 plug for AC charging, the kind home and workplace chargers use, and a CCS2 plug for DC fast charging. If your model is different, we'll check and confirm compatibility before installation.
How Much Does It Cost to Install an EV Charger at Home?
Our Basic Home Charger Install starts from $1,669 + GST, for a standard installation at a Perth metro home. If you're outside the metro area, or your power setup needs extra work such as a switchboard upgrade, that's priced in your quote. The quote is fixed, so the price we quote is the price you pay.
Do You Offer Support and Repairs After Installation?
Yes. We're WA locals, so if anything goes wrong after your electric vehicle charger installation, we're just a phone call away. We work closely with our hardware and software partners to resolve any issues quickly and correctly.
What's the Risk of Going With a Cheaper Charger?
A cheaper charger can save you money now and cost you more later. Cheaper systems often lack support, can't grow when you add chargers, and may not work with charging software. We only recommend products that will still do the job in 5 years, not just today.
Can My Electrician Install the Charger Instead?
Technically, yes, but we don't recommend it. We've seen too many jobs done by general sparkies that ended up costing more to fix. A proper EV charger install needs commissioning, which means testing the charger and setting it up to run correctly, plus software knowledge, not just cabling.
Do You Offer Load Management?
Yes, and ours isn't tied to one brand of charger. That means you're not stuck with one hardware brand forever. You can add chargers later without having to dismantle the system or start over.
Do I Need Software With My EV Charger?
Homeowners usually don't; most home setups are plug-and-play. Businesses and fleets do. You'll need software to manage usage, billing, and access, and we supply and set this up for you with local support.
Can EV Charger Installation Be Tax-Deductible?
If it's for business, fleet, or income-producing property use, yes, in most cases. We recommend checking with your accountant for specifics, and we're happy to provide the documents and cost breakdowns they need.
Can You Install a Charger I've Already Bought?
Yes. If you've already bought a charger, such as a Tesla Wall Connector, we'll install it safely and to standard.
